Our Roots
Born and raised by a single mother in India, Bhupinderjit Sandhu learned very young the importance of hard work. Immediately after he immigrated to Canada in 1995, he began his journey in the restaurant business as a dishwasher at Samosa Garden. That same hard-working mentally led him to become a partner to a Consumers Choice award winning establishment after only two years.
In 2012 his passion grew and led him to his venture of Agra Tandoori where he was able to bring his culinary vision of authentic Indian cuisine served in a customer focused atmosphere to life. An establishment that has been awarded Burnaby’s best Indian Food from 2016 to the present.
With over 25 years in the restaurant business, Bhupinderjit is as tireless, passionate and driven to grow his thriving business as ever.
